Hotel overview
Located just off the highway in Willowbank, this motel gives a blend of relaxed rural ambiance with easy access to Ipswich’s varied cultural and natural attractions. Travelers will appreciate comfortable, spacious rooms equipped with air conditioning and thoughtful touches like freshly laundered duvets and a fresh-smelling environment. The motel also caters well to families, featuring kid-friendly amenities and an outdoor pool for some low-key recreation.
The large parking area is complimentary, which benefits visitors arriving by car for nearby sightseeing or work trips. Though it lacks an on-site restaurant or fitness center, the small convenience shop attached to reception covers basic needs, with the Ipswich city center just a short drive away. Guests consistently praise the friendly, accommodating staff who prepare rooms in advance—including turning on the air conditioning to welcome arrivals.
With no airport shuttle or dining options on premises, this property suits travelers seeking a quiet, practical base near Ipswich’s museums, galleries, and nature centers rather than a full-service resort experience.

What travelers say
A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“A great motel off the highway with rural outlook. [Sadly, there was only 1 bedside table and 1 facecloth. No bedside lamps.] But it has a great vibe! Great staff. Lovely duvet. And smells really nice and fresh. Air conditioner had been turned on for our impending arrival. Thank you!!”
“stayed here a lot for work. The staff are awesome, the rooms are perfect”
“Big rooms. Comfortable beds. Clean and tidy. All staff are super friendly and accommodating. Reasonably priced. Great facilities. Central to shops and a good little shop attached to reception with all your basic needs. No complaints at all!”
